About this Episode

In this episode, I interview my friend and accountability partner, Alexandra Lundgren, a Financial Advisor, who has both seen and adapted to change by embracing it, who believes in the financial education of every woman, and who stands firm in her belief that if you are dreading going into the office every Sunday afternoon, that it’s time to take the leap and pursue work that you’re passionate about. Alex has been in the financial industry for over 15 years, solidifying her role as an independent business owner with all of the hard sought knowledge and experience she acquired along the way. From collaborative male counterparts to men who wouldn’t give her a seat at the table, Alex embodies resiliency and determination in the face of adversity.

Listen to our interview, of working from the bottom rung to the top of the ladder through seeking out opportunity, expanding and deepening knowledge, and more than anything seeing the people before you and serving them well. Alex shares that it is okay to sit in your success and to relish it before striving after the next goal, and the wisdom behind hiring out the jobs and tasks you’re less capable of doing well. She shares the necessity of asking our children how we can best show up for them in order to give ourselves grace as working mothers. This episode will leave you inspired to stare down the imposter syndrome that is ever lurking while stepping into your skill set. Tune in and discover the truth about change—it is neutral, and you bring your perspective and often your fears to it, rather than using it to your advantage.
